Rick Ross Responds to Chrisette Michele in The Source Magazine

7 Dec

Rick Ross recently met up with The Source Magazine for an upcoming feature and discussed everything from his beef with Jeezy to allegedly storming out of the Soul Train Awards after losing an award to Eminem. The Boss even responded to Chrisette Michele’s blog post about denouncing Hip Hop and being disappointed in Ross.

On Chrisette Michele
I haven’t spoken to Chrisette Michele or her team. but I didn’t speak to her to [invite her to] the show either. It was something maybe the label set up. [But] her choice of words were ugly. Denouncing Hip-Hop, that ain’t cool. Using ugly words could give off the wrong impression. That could make your hat look ugly to me now. That could make your haircut look ugly to me now. R. Kelly Kills Soul Train Awards Performance

29 Nov

Last night, R. Kelly murdered his performance at the Soul Train Award Show. He opened his set with an acapella rendition of “Bump and Grind” and then performed a medley of songs that included “Your Body Is Calling Me,” “When A Woman’s Fed Up,” “Happy People” and his new song “When A Woman Loves.” Remember when Trey Songz called out R. Kelly, the original R&B baby maker, about falling into the music trend? Well looks like R. Kelly just reminded Trey and everyone why he is one of the greatest male R&B singers of all time.
