VIDEO: Diddy Dirty Money ft. Trey Songz and Rick Ross “Your Love (Remix)”

31 Mar

Only Diddy knows how to rock fine, designer duds in some underground tunnel! Diddy Dirty Money team up with Trey Songz and Rick Ross for their new video “Your Love (Remix)” which is the latest single from the group’s Last Train To Paris album.  The video, directed by Colin Tiley, shows Diddy, Trey and Ross rocking out in a very intimate underground party. Produced by Polow da Don, “Your Love” debuted at number seven on the Billboard charts when it was released in December.

Despite what “Diddy haters” say, LTTP is a quality album, and with each new video released Kaleena and Dawn are establishing more of a presence.  Diddy Dirty Money recently announced their nationwide “Coming Home” tour, which starts April 13th in Minneapolis, Minnesota. All aboard!

VIDEO: Big Sean ft. Chris Brown “My Last”

27 Mar

Big Sean’s been on a performance spree the last few weeks, hitting up SXSW in Austin, TX with his G.O.O.D. Music family as well as taking the stage alongside his label mate  CyHi da Prynce at XXL’s Freshmen concert on Tuesday (March 22).

Now Big Sean is taking a step further mainstream by dropping a video for his song “My Last” featuring Chris Brown, which is set to appear on his debut album “Finally Famous: The Album.” The video shows footage of Big Sean back in 2005, early in the rapper’s career. I like the way the video shows the rapper’s journey. Check it out!

Ace Hood, from the Island Def Jam Music Group,  presents a video for his hot hood anthem “Hustle Hard.” The gritty video illustrates the message of the song, that at no matter at what level, everybody has to grind and hustle.

VIDEO: Keri Hilson ft. Chris Brown “One Night Stand”

25 Mar

Keri Hilson and Chris Brown released the video for their new sultry single “One Night Stand,” which was co-written by Kevin McCall and Chris Brown.

This song definitely brings up memories of old collaborations between Aaliyah and Ginuwine in the late 90’s. Keri’s vocals and the dance sequence just scream late 90’s, when R&B was dominating the charts.

I’m digging the video and the song.

VIDEO: Wiz Khalifa “Roll Up” Starring Cassie

28 Feb

Wiz Khalifa’s new song “Roll Up” on the radio and I knew he had a decent single on his hands. In the song, he borrows the rap/sing formula made famous by the likes of Ja Rule and Nelly, while trying to get the attention of a new chick.

Whenever you need me, whenever you want me, you know you can call me, I’ll be there shortly. Don’t care what your friends say, cause they don’t know me, I can be your best friend and you be my homie“.

Regarding who was going to play his love interest in the  video, Wiz Khalifa bypassed being predictable and having his current girl Amber Rose. Instead, he  snagged Cassie for the part.
