Best Hip Hop Beef Tracks

29 Nov

On Friday (November 26), Lil’ Kim aimed a vicious dis track entitled “Black Friday” at Nicki Minaj during the release week of Barbie’s much-anticipated Pink Friday album. In addition to Minaj, Kim’s song, recorded over Pharoahe Monch’s “Simon Says” beat, also stung Young Money affiliate Drake, Lil Wayne, one-time mentor and friend Diddy as well as her rival Foxy Brown (“This the s–t the other bitch almost got killed for”). On the other hand, the Queen Bee gives props to the man responsible for starting Nicki’s career; Barbie’s one-time manager Fendi, who initially introduced her to the rap game through his “On The Come Up” DVDs. Lil’ Kim’s scathing response to Nicki’s “Roman’s Revenge” was definitely has hip-hop fans buzzing. The Queen B’s dis track is certainly brutal, but does it fall on the list of the best hip hop beef tracks of all time? Continue reading

Top Sports Brawls in History

29 Nov

Houston wide receiver Andre Johnson and Tennessee cornerback Cortland Finnegan were involved in a fist fight that got both players ejected in the fourth quarter Sunday. Finnegan set it off by pushing up Johnson’s face mask at the line of scrimmage. Johnson ripped off Finnegan’s helmet and landed at least two clean punches to Finnegan’s head and neck. Finnegan tore off Johnson’s helmet before players and referees intervened. The game was stopped for more than five minutes as officials sorted out the chaos. Johnson received a standing ovation as security guards escorted him off the field. Finnegan taunted booing fans as he exited out the opposite tunnel. The two had been pushing and jawing earlier in the game, and Johnson has called Finnegan’s antics annoying in the past. Last season, Johnson was fined $7,500 for taking Finnegan to the ground by the facemask during a scuffle after a play in a 34-31 Texans win. So here is a pic of the fight and some shots of fights you might not remember as we look at some of the most legendary fights in sports history. Continue reading

Madea’s Thanksgiving 10 Commandments

10 Rules for Thanksgiving

1. Don’t get in line asking questions about the food. “Who made the potato salad? Is it egg in there? Are the greens fresh? Is the meat in the greens turkey or pork? Who made the macaroni and cheese? What kind of pie is that? Who made it? Ask one more question and I will punch you in your mouth, knocking out all your fronts so you won’t be able to eat anything.

2. If you can’t walk or are missing any limbs, sit your ass down until someone makes your plate for you. Dinner time is not the time for you to be independent. Nibble on them damn pecans and walnuts to hold you over until someone makes you a plate.

3. If you have kids under the age of twelve, I will escort their little asses to the basement and bring their food down to them. They are not gonna tear my damn house up this year. Tell them that they are not allowed upstairs until it’s time for Uncle Butchie to start telling family stories about their mommas and papas. If they come upstairs for any reason except for that they are bleeding to death, I will break a foot off in their asses!

4. There is going to be one prayer for Thanksgiving dinner! JUST ONE! We do not care that you are thankful that your 13 year old daughter gave birth to a healthy baby or your nephew just got out of jail. Save that talk for somebody who gives a damn. The time limit for the prayer is one minute. If you are still talking after that one minute is up, you will feel something hard come across your lips and they will be swollen for approximately 20 minutes.

5. Finish everything on your plate before you go up for seconds! If you don’t, you will be cursed out and asked to stay your greedy ass home next year! Continue reading

Condoms for Kids…Really?

23 Nov

While on Twitter I can across this particular tweet today from @Freaky Fact. The idea that companies were actually targeting pre-teens for condoms disturbed me, so I investigated to see if the claims were true. And indeed it is. A company in Europe is now the Hot Shot condom, which is an extra small-sized condom developed for young boys. Are they serious? I’m totally for advocating for protection ALONG with abstinence. I agree that kids need to know how t protect themselves but this seems a bit much. Are we protecting or encouraging young kids to become sexually active. The Hot Shot will be sold in Switzerland.
